Zoltek, as a part of Toray Group, strategically practices social responsibility throughout the year. Activities are designed to improve social welfare and the environment of the communities in which we operate. A variety of organizations benefit each year with the overall goal of positively affecting the world in which we live.

During the Holiday season we know there is a particular focus on being grateful for what we have and helping others in any way that we can. Across all Zoltek locations, we strive to maximize our impact in the communities in which we operate.

Our Headquarters location collected toys and household items for the women and children helped by Lydia’s House in St. Louis. Lydia’s House is an organization that provides transitional housing for abused women and their children in our community. Visit their website for more information on the mission of Lydia’s House.

In November and December, our teams at our other St. Louis area locations, Missouri Research Park and St. Peters, collected food for the St. Louis Area Foodbank, an organization that provides millions of meals to people in our region facing hunger every year. In total, the two Zoltek locations collected over 4,200 pounds of food! This incredible amount of food included everything from peanut butter and tuna, to pasta and bottled water.
